Weddings

For over a hundred years couples have come to  St Augustine's to be married. If you are thinking of getting amrried we would love to hear from you. The church building is an excellent setting for a wedding.  If you live in our parish or have a qualifying connection to St. Augustine’s, then please contact Rev Jim on 01322 553421 or jdbbarnehurst@aol.com to talk about getting married here. 

Examples of a qualifying connection are:

• You have lived in the parish for at least six months during your lifetime.
• You were christened in St Augustine's.
• You are confirmed and the service is recorded in the registers at St Augustine's.
• Your parents or grandparents were married at St Augustine's 

We are happy to accommodate particular requests with regards to music and readings in order to make the event a really happy and splendid occasion.
